Applicants can qualify for substantial awards, including up to $203,000 for installing 20 level 2 chargers, $663,000 for six fast-charging ports (DCFC), or $723,000 for a combination of both level 2 and DCFC chargers.
Who Can Apply?
The WAEVCP is open to a variety of eligible applicants, including cities, counties, tribes, utilities, and nonprofit organizations. Whether you represent a local government or a nonprofit focused on sustainability, this program offers an avenue for you to make a significant impact on EV infrastructure in your community.
Diverse Project Types Welcome
While all types of EV charging projects are eligible, the program strongly encourages applications for public charging stations. Additionally, projects located in low-income or underserved communities, as well as those filling geographical charging gaps, are especially encouraged. This is an opportunity to ensure that EV charging infrastructure reaches those who need it most.
