Over the past six years, Michael has been instrumental in helping organizations across Oregon and Washington transition to cleaner, more cost-effective transportation solutions, leveraging his expertise in fleet electrification and alternative fuels.

A prime example of his leadership and project development skills is the successful collaboration between Columbia-Willamette Clean Cities (CWCC), Western Washington Clean Cities (WWCC), and Love’s Travel Stops & Country Stores (Love’s). Together, they secured funding through the Zero Emission Vehicle Infrastructure Program (ZEVIP) Grant from the Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT), further advancing electric vehicle charging infrastructure in Washington State.

A proud University of Oregon alumnus—Go Ducks!—Michael holds a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Studies and a Master’s in Community & Regional Planning. His work supports organizations transitioning to medium- and heavy-duty fleet electrification, covering everything from grant applications to on-the-ground implementation. Michael also collaborates with members and stakeholders across the Pacific Northwest to address the changing needs of the industry.

His favorite part of the job? Helping fleets navigate the challenges of adopting cleaner technologies and seeing the real-world impact of reduced emissions and greater sustainability.

We’re proud to have Michael’s leadership driving our mission forward, one clean fleet at a time!
