Winter 2012-2013 Coalition Newsletter
Welcome to the Columbia-Willamette Clean Cities Coalition!
CWCCC was formed in 1994 as part of the Clean Cities program. Clean Cities is a federal program committed to encouraging public and private fleet operators to convert to alternative fuels where economically practical to reduce petroleum consumption in the transportation sector. Approximately 90 communities across the U.S. have formed coalitions and are working together to advance the goals of the national Clean Cities program. Since launching nationally in 1993, Clean Cities and its stakeholders have displaced more than 2.0 billion gallons of petroleum.

Saving Fuel
Save Fuel - Try not to idle.
Letting your engine idle for more than 20 seconds uses more fuel than turning off the engine and restarting it. If there's a long line at the drive-in window, turn off your engine or park and go inside.
